Cris Velasco is a multiple award-winning composer of orchestral, experimental and modern hybrid music scores for video games, film and television. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Music Composition, Velasco wrote music for visual media; his first major release was composing for Sony’s blockbuster God of War. Velasco has scored major titles including Company of Heroes 2, Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2, ZombiU, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, and many more.
After graduating Berklee College of Music, Jose moved to Los Angeles and began working on major films. Five years later, having worked with LA's top composers and producers, Jose launched his own company specializing in music for video games. Looking to expand his business, Jose met with Cris Velasco to discuss merging companies. Together they founded The Audio Hive with the vision to bring music, audio, voice over and implementation solutions of AAA quality to a wide range of projects.
A graduate from the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Arizona, Rodney started in the game industry as a junior sound designer at Sammy Studios back in 2004 (High Moon Studios today). With the job being a perfect fit both creatively and technically, Rodney has had the fortune to enjoy a career at many great companies over the years. The projects have ranged from big publisher-backed AAA titles for console to smaller, independent games titles for PC and mobile releases.
Rob King is a 25+ year veteran of audio for games and music. As an Audio Director and Voice and Casting Director, he's shipped over 150 titles including award winning games like DmC:Devil May Cry, James Bond: Quantum of Solace, Fable 2 & 3, Heroes of Might & Magic, and Never Winter Nights 2. Rob has also worked on TV Trailers for the films I am Legend, Watchmen, We are Marshall and Clash of the Titans (2010) as well as a sound designer on the Television show Legend of Korra on Nickelodeon.
